por 2 semanas; “Just The Two Of Us” del
desaparecido cantante norteamericano Grover Washington Jr, que fue N° 2 en USA;
y “Stars On 45” de Stars On, grupo
1.- YOU BETTER,
YOU BET (The Who).- Uno de los grupos británicos más influyentes en la historia del
rock es, sin duda alguna, THE WHO.
nuevo hit, “You Better, You Bet”, un
entrevista comentó: “‘You Better, You Bet’
recordar a Elvis.
You better you
better you bet, ooh
You better you
better you bet, ooh
You better you
better you bet, ooh
You better you
better you bet, ooh
I call you on
the telephone my voice too rough with cigarettes
I sometimes
feel I should just go home
But I'm
dealing with a memory that never forgets
I love to hear
you say my name especially when you say yes
I got your
body right now on my mind and I drunk myself blind
To the sound
of old T-Rex
To the sound
of old T-Rex, who's next?
When I say I
love you say you better
(You better
you better you bet)
When I say I
need you say you better
(You better
you better you bet)
You better bet
your life
Or love will
cut you like a knife
I want those
feeble minded axes overthrown
I'm not into
your passport picture I just like your nose
You welcome me
with open arms and open legs
I know only
fools have needs but this one never begs
I don't really
mind how much you love me
A little is
really alright
When you say
come over and spend the night
Tonight,
tonight
When I say I
love you say you better
(You better
you better you bet)
When I say I
need you say you better
(You better
you better you bet)
You better bet
your life
Or love will
cut you like a knife
I lay on the
bed with you
We could make
some book of records
Your dog keeps
licking my nose
And chewing up
all those letters
Saying you
better
You better bet
your life
You better
love me, all the time now
You better
shove me back into line now
You better
love me, all the time now
You better
shove me back into line now
I showed up
late one night with a neon light for a visa
But knowing
I'm so eager to fight can't make letting me in any easier
I know that
I've been wearing crazy clothes and I look pretty crappy
Sometime
But my body
feels so good and I still sing a razor line everytime
And when it
comes to all night living
I know what
I'm giving
I've got it
all down to a tee
And it's free
When I say I
love you say you better
(You better
you better you bet)
When I say I
need you say you better
(You better
you better you bet)
When I say I
love you say you better
(You better
you better you bet)
When I say I
need you say you better
(You better
you better you bet)
When I say I
love you say you better
(You better
you better you bet)
When I say I need you say you better
(You better you better you bet)
When I say I love you say you better
(You better you better you bet)
When I say I need you say you better
(You better you better you bet)
You better bet your life
Or love will cut you just like a knife
2.- TAINTED LOVE (Soft
Sometimes I
feel I've got to
Run away I've
got to
Get away
From the pain
that you drive into the heart of me
The love we
share
Seems to go
nowhere
And I've lost
my light
For I toss and
turn I can't sleep at night
Once I ran to
you (I ran)
Now I'll run
from you
This tainted
love you've given
I give you all
a boy could give you
Take my tears
and that's not nearly all
Oh tainted
love
Tainted love
Now I know
I've got to
Run away I've
got to
Get away
You don't
really want it any more from me
To make things
right
You need
someone to hold you tight
And you'll
think love is to pray
But I'm sorry
I don't pray that way
Once I ran to
you (I ran)
Now I'll run
from you
This tainted love
you've given
I give you all
a boy could give you
Take my tears
and that's not nearly all
Oh tainted
love
Tainted love
Look up on the wall, there on the
floor,
Under the pillow, behind the door.
There's a crack in the mirror.
Somewhere there's a hole in a window
pane.
Do you think I'm to blame?
Tell me, do you think I'm to blame?
(When we do it) you're never there.
(When you show it) just stop and
stare.
(Abacab) he's in anywhere.
(Abacab)
If you're wrappin' up the world
'Cause you've taken someone else's
girl,
When they turn on the pillow,
Even when they answer the telephone,
Don't you think that by now...
Tell me, don't you think that by
now.
(When we do it) you're never there.
(When you show it) just stop and
stare.
(Abacab) he's in anywhere.
(Abacab) doesn't really care.
Do you want it? You got it. Now you
know.
Do you want it? You got it. Now you
know.
It's an illusion. It's a game,
Or reflection of someone else's
name.
When you wake in the morning,
Wake and find you're covered in
cellophane,
Well, there's a hole in there
somewhere.
Yeah, there's a hole in there
somewhere.
Baby, there's a hole in there
somewhere.
Now there's a hole in there
somewhere.
(When we do it) you're never there.
(When you show it) you stop and
stare.
(Abacab) he's in anywhere.
(Abacab)
2.- KEEP IT DARK
Found that man reported missing,
He wandered in his home.
It don't seem to bad if you consider
Just what he's been through.
Seems he met up with a gang of
thieves,
Who mistook him for a man of means,
They locked him up then found he had
no money,
So they let him go again.
Now he's back at home and happy
Just to see the kids.
I wish that I could really tell you
All the things that happened to me
And all that I have seen.
A world full of people their hearts
full of joy,
Cities of light with no fear of war,
And thousands of creatures with
happier lives,
And dreams of a future with meaning
and no need to hide.
Oh, keep it dark.
It seems strange to have to lie,
About a world so bright.
And tell instead a made-up story,
From the world of night.
I wish, that I could really tell
you,
All the things that happened to me
And all that I have seen,
A world full of people their hearts
full of joy,
Cities of light with no fear of war,
And thousands of creatures with
happier lives,
And dreams of a future with meaning
and no need to lie,
No need to hate,
No need to hide.
Oh, keep it dark
video del tema “Man On The Corner”.
banda norteamericana REO Speedwagon.
1.- TAKE IT ON
Take It On The Run”.
Beamish, Kevin Cronin, Alan Gratzer y Gary Richrath.
Heard it from a friend who, heard it from a friend who
Heard it from another you been messin' around
They say you got a boyfriend, you're out late every
weekend
They're talkin' about you and it's bringin' me down
But I know the neighborhood
And talk is cheap when the story is good
And the tales grow taller on down the line
But I'm telling you, babe, that I don't think it's
true, babe
And even if it is keep this in mind
You take it on the
run baby
If that's the way
you want it baby
Then I don't want
you around
I don't believe it,
not for a minute
You're under the
gun so you take it on the run
You're thinking up
your white lies
You're puttin' on
your bedroom eyes
You say you're
coming home but you won't say when
But I can feel it
coming if you leave tonight keep running
And you need never
look back again
You take it on the
run baby
If that's the way
you want it baby
Then I don't want
you around
I don't believe it,
not for a minute
You're under the
gun so you take it on the run
You take it on the
run baby
If that's the way
you want it baby
Then I don't want
you around
I don't believe it
not for a minute
You're under the
gun so you take it on the run
Take it on the run
baby
If that's the way
you want it baby
Then I don't want
you around
I don't believe it,
not for a minute
You're under the
gun so you take it on the run
Heard it from a
friend who, heard it from a friend who
Heard it from
another you been messin' around
2.- DON’T LET
HIM GO (REO Speedwagon).- Otra de las canciones
que se escuchó del álbum “HI INFIDELITY”, fue “Don’t Let Him Go”, aunque con mucho menor difusión. Gerardo Manuel
Cronin, Alan Gratzer y Gary Richrath.
tema. Disfrútalo.
So you think that you've got him all figured out
He's a sweet talkin' stud
Who can melt a girl's heart with his pout
He's the kind of lover that the ladies dream about
Yes he is
He's got plenty of cash
He's got plenty of friends
He drives women wild
Then he drives off in a Mercedes Benz
He's got a long wick with a flame at both ends
He's hot
But don't let him go
Just give him a chance to grow
Take it easy, take it slow
And don't let him go
Don't let him go
He makes you so angry
He makes you so sore
The wait may be worth it
But how can you wait anymore
When you're wonderin' what you're waitin' for
Baby I don't know
But don't let him go
He just needs a chance to grow
Take it easy, take it slow
And don't let him go
Don't let him go
But don't let him go
Just give him a chance to grow
Take it easy, take it slow
And don't let him go
Don't let him go
But don't let him go
He just needs a chance to grow
Take it easy, take it slow
And don't let him go
Don't let him go
Don't let him go
Don't let him go
Don't let him go
Don't let him go
Don't let him go
Don't let him go
Oh no
Your Letter”.
